Sam Philips of Sun Records did though back in the 50's. But the star power of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins broke his financial resources and he had to upsize Elvis to the Major Labels to survive the mounting costs. One day they all were at the studio at one time and laid down some tracks and of course there was a photo shoot. Born was the "Million Dollar Quartet" and tonight is Date Night so we are going to the Harris Center at Folsom Lake College to see the National Touring "Million Dollar Quartet" show hit the stage.
The Harris Center is always top notch and we're looking forward to rockabillying the hours away tonight. In a perfect world we would have also reserved a spot at Land Ocean down the street or headed to Old Town Folsom first but unfortunately I have to work late tonight so pre-show festivities are limited. The show ran Thursday, Tonight, and still has one more show Saturday you may be able to make.
